1-22-13- We are still working on Unit 9 in Spelling. I will send an email when we are ready for the test. Students are still reading their novels in lit circles this week. They are doing a nice job and all say they are enjoying the books. Students will work on Common Core Standards, Evaluating a Claim and Integrating Information From Two Texts in Work on Writing. Please make sure they are doing the reading at home as well. Calendars are due on Friday.
1-14-13- Students began lit circles last week. We have 5 groups with 4 or 5 in each group. Students will read a book together with their group and complete activities that go along with the book. All reading from the lit circle books will be done at school. Students will be given Unit 9 Spelling list tomorrow. I will let you know when the cloze test will be given. We will also continue working in Scholastic News.
