Hi Parents.  On Friday, students were given a username and password for Math First.  Math First is an interactive math program. From what I have heard, it is more fun than ALEKS.  Mrs. Parsons is keeping track and acknowledging students for their work on Math First.  We are in competition as a homeroom to see who is completing the most work and putting in the most time on Mat First.  So, help your child at home to help our classroom do well.  Scholastic book orders went home on Friday as well.  They are due back by October1st, if you want to order.  I still have not received September's order.  It should be here any day.  If you have not signed and sent back progress reports, please do so.  I am trying to set up a group email for parents.  I'm not sure I have done it correctly.  I heard back from some of you on Friday, wondering what it was about. If you get an email from me without a message, it's probably because I am still trying to set it up correctly.    We have a short quiz over Chapter 2 Religion tomorrow.  Students were told to bring their Religion books home and to reread Chapter 2.
